Meet Gaynor and Andy, the proud owners of The Nook, a sprawling residence brimming with untapped potential. Situated in a conservation area, preserving the integrity of the surrounding natural beauty was paramount. With its existing 1930s suburban-style architecture and disjointed brickwork, the house lacked cohesion and harmony with its environment.

Drawing inspiration from the serene surroundings, we opted for a design scheme that reflects the natural charm of the area. To achieve this, we employed a combination of brick slips at the base and Western red cedar cladding on the upper levels. This thoughtful blend of materials not only enhances the visual appeal of the property but also creates a harmonious relationship between the house and its surroundings.

In addition to addressing the exterior alterations, our redesign encompassed the remodeling of the front entrance porch and interior spaces. By infusing every aspect of the property with cohesive design elements, we've transformed The Nook into a welcoming sanctuary that seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings.
